Amanita Wolfe was born on a Navy base in San Diego, but spent her formative years growing up in a small Michigan town just outside of Detroit. Her journey into the world of writing began recently and unexpectedly, once sparked by encouragement from her mother's co-author who recognized her natural storytelling abilities through vivid Facebook posts detailing her daily experiences.

Despite this early nudge, it took Amanita years to fully embrace her writing talents. Once she did, however, she found herself consumed by a passion that felt unstoppable. Drawing inspiration from her mother, a seasoned author of multiple published novels, Amanita works towards crafting tales that dive deep into the strange and mysterious. She loves to leave readers wondering what will happen next.

Amanita's artistic journey initially started with traditional art, but the pressures of turning it into a career eventually steered her towards writing, where she discovered a newfound freedom and joy in simply creating for the sake of creation. Unconcerned with the amount of story views or recognition, she loves turning her visions into stories that come alive on the page, driven purely by her own fulfillment and enjoyment. She also continues to enjoy making traditional and digital art with much less pressure, while running a small jewelry business on top of it all.

Currently working on her debut novella, Amanita views this phase of her life as an exciting new chapter. She looks forward to seeing where this new path will lead her, as she finally feels the creative freedom she has always craved to feel.
